Kendra Perkins opened the salon on 5 October 2019, in the old post office building on Marlborough Street, Longford. Hair and beauty in one room, in your own town.
The salon
One room on Marlborough Street
Kendra & Krew has been the hair chair for Longford since October 2019, and the beauty room grew up beside it. White walls, painted architraves, panelled doors, a timber floor and window light: it is the room behind every photograph on this website.
Colour is what the salon is known for. Blondes and balayage, colour correction, vivid work, and the kind of tonal brunette that reads as depth rather than a dye job. Extensions, cutting, and formal and bridal styling run from the same book.
The book takes ladies, men and kids, a first-time colour and a regular of six years, a school formal in October and a Saturday morning trim. Nails, waxing, tinting, lash lift and spray tan sit on the same booking page, so it can all be one visit.

I have been going to Kendra & Krew for over a year now, I am so happy that I have found my favourite hair salon and now favourite hairdresser Ellen. I always leave with my hair done just how I like it and feeling fab. She does a wonderful job every time and is such a lovely person to chat with throughout. The salon is fair and affordable with their pricing compared to other salons, and Longford being such a beautiful country town is worth the drive out for the day. Plus no parking hassles. And I love the complimentary cookies too.
First time. Impressed. An unassuming shop front leads into a warm welcome and a well set out salon. Regardless of if you are a local, the service is grand. Ellen, brilliant. I was very vague about what I wanted. Ellen had great knowledge and suggestions, made me feel comfortable from the start. I am very happy with my new cut and colour. Professional, friendly. Every box ticked.
