Where exactly is Kendra & Krew?
At 7 Marlborough Street, Longford, in the old post office building. Longford is about twenty minutes south of Launceston, and there is street parking at the door.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is street parking on Marlborough Street, right at the salon door.
Is it worth the drive from Launceston?
Longford is about twenty minutes south of Launceston, the parking is at the door, and hair, nails, waxing, tinting, lash lift and spray tan are all in the one room. One trip covers what would otherwise be two appointments.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Book. Everything runs by appointment, so the chair is held for you. You can book online any time of day or ring the salon on (03) 6391 1376 during opening hours.
How does booking online work?
Open the booking page, pick the service and a time that suits, and Kendra confirms the appointment with you. It is open any time of day, including when the salon is closed. If you are not sure which service to pick, ring the salon instead.
Are you open outside work hours?
Thursday runs late, until 8pm. Saturday mornings are open until 2pm. Sunday is closed.
What does it cost?
Pricing is not published on the website yet. Current prices for every service sit on the booking page, and Kendra will quote colour and extensions after a consultation, because the length and the history of your hair change the number.

What the salon is known for, and what needs a consultation first.
Do you do blondes and balayage?
Yes. Colour is what the salon is known for: blondes and balayage, foils, all-over colour, toning and glossing, colour correction, and vivid and fashion colour.
Do I need a consultation first?
For the bigger jobs, yes. Colour correction, vivid colour and extensions are quoted after a consultation, because the length and the history of your hair change what is involved. Everything else books online as normal, or ring the salon if you are unsure.
Do you do extensions?
Yes. All hair services here include extensions. Extensions start with a consultation so the length, the method and the colour match get sorted before anything is ordered.
Do you cut men's and children's hair?
Yes. Men's and children's cuts are both on the menu, including a toddler's very first haircut.
Formals, nails and beauty

Can I get hair and beauty done in the same visit?
Yes, and that is the reason a lot of people come here. Hair, nails, waxing, tinting, lash lift and spray tan are all under the one roof, so a colour and a set of nails can sit in the same appointment window. Mention it when you book so the time gets allowed.
What beauty services do you offer?
Professional nails, lash lift, lash and brow tinting, waxing and spray tan, so there is no second appointment to fit in back in Launceston.
Do you do formals and weddings?
Yes. Formal and bridal styling is booked separately from a normal blow-dry so there is enough time in the chair. Get in early for the school formal season.
